• This is a full-time role
• Work Schedule: Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Flexible hours such as early, late and weekend shift may be required.
• Work Restrictions: Because of the vital nature of this work, we do not allow medical marijuana cards and we do random drug testing on all of our employees.

Responsibilities

• Testing of compounded sterile and non-sterile pharmaceuticals
• Sterility, fungal and endotoxin testing
• Identification and isolation of microorganisms
• Participate in discussion with scientific and business development personnel to assess technical and operational issues including routine sample and project testing / results, SOPs and client relations
• Take client calls and assist them with technical details of testing
• Reporting results
• Aid laboratory personnel in daily activities to maintain high scientific quality and compliance with SOPs, cGMP protocols, and safety standards
• Able to wear, maintain, and properly use appropriate safety equipment, including, but not limited to eye protection, gloves, full face respirator, and lab coat

Requirements

• An associate degree in Microbiology or related science with 2+ years industrial experience
• OR A bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or related science with 0-2 years industrial experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or related science with 1-2 years’ experience in the Pharmaceutical industry is preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication proficiency
• Ability to collaborate and work well with others
