Micro Quality Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Micro QC Analyst I to join our team in Ridgefield, NJ. Offering flexible shift options, this 18-month contract role is an ideal opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to make a direct impact on aseptic production and quality assurance in a cutting-edge cGMP facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform microbial testing and environmental monitoring (EM) of Grade A-D aseptic production areas.
• Conduct bioburden, membrane filtration, sterility, conductivity, and endotoxin assays.
• Accurately enter EM sampling results into LIMS, logbooks, and laboratory data systems.
• Author, review, and update SOPs, Change Controls, and Out-of-Specification (OOS) investigations.
• Maintain lab supplies and ensure full compliance with cGMP standards and HSE regulations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with project teams to support smooth site operations.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Microbiology, Biology, or a related scientific discipline.
• 2+ years of experience in a cGMP, pharmaceutical, or laboratory environment.
• Hands-on experience with general microbiology techniques (bacteria, yeast, and mold).
• Knowledge of cGMPs in pharmaceutical or aseptic manufacturing.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and stand for at least 4 hours.

Preferred Skills

• Experience writing OOS investigations, authoring SOPs, and using LIMS.
• Strong technical writing and cross-functional communication skills.

Pay & Schedule

• Contract position, 18-month duration
• Pay rate: $35 - $38 per hour
• Work hours: 9 to 5
• Location: Ridgefield, NJ
