Michigan Commercial Payments Team Lead
Sales of Cash Management products and services
Sales of Cash Management products and services (50%).
Devise and execute plans to achieve individual and team sales goals.
Assist RMs in meeting service charge/DDA goals.
Teach team members to accomplish the same.
Demonstrate proficiency in sales of all strategic TM products and the ability to identify targeted company needs with packaged product solutions for a client sale.
Devise and implement calling strategy to meet individual and team call quotas.
Develop cross-sell opportunities and train team members on a similar process.
Provide recommendations on sales opportunities to include sales to new prospects and cross-sell opportunities to existing clients.
Utilize Treasury Management Reviews as tool to generate cross-sells.
Relationship Group Assignment
Relationship Group Assignment (20%).
Maintain lines of communications with RMs individually and as a group.
Review sales goals with RMs and advise RMs of new product development.
Assess knowledge level of individual RMs and bring each up to a minimum standard.
Assist in proposal generation and other oral and written communications to customers.
Provide recommendations on sales opportunities to include sales to new prospects and cross-sell opportunities to existing clients.
Become familiar with nuances of assigned RM business specialty group(s).
Customer Service
Customer Service (10%).
Deliver timely resolution of customer issues.
Develop knowledge of internal resources for accurate response to customer issues.
Communicate product issues to management and escalate to Ops/Product team when required.
Recommend viable solutions to management and clients to solve future client issues.
Product Implementation
Product Implementation (20%).
Ensure proper account documentation and all requisite agreement execution.
Verify proper pricing and track implementation progress.
Exhibit proficiency in training clients on the use of TM products and services.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Must have at least 2 direct reports.
Responsible for providing employees timely, candid, and constructive performance feedback;
Develop employees to their fullest potential and provide challenging opportunities that enhance employee career growth;
Develop the appropriate talent pool to ensure adequate bench strength and succession planning;
Recognize and reward employees for accomplishments.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
MBA or advanced degree desirable.
CCM certification preferred.
7-10 years’ experience in a cash management sales environment.
Demonstrated record of consistently meeting or exceeding the full performance goal of the portfolio supported required.
Demonstrated knowledge of a wide array of cash management products.
Excellent oral and written skills.
Basic proficiency in PC software (MS Office).

The base salary for this position is reflective of the range of salary levels for all roles within this pay grade across the U.S. Individual salaries within this range will vary based on factors such as role, relevant skillset, relevant experience, education and geographic location.
