About the role

The Miami office of Morgan Lewis seeks to hire a third-year law student/fall 2027 entry-level associate for their Labor and Employment Practice. The ideal candidate will have excellent academic credentials, as well as strong organization, writing, and analytical skills. Experience or demonstrated interest in labor and employment work is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and filing of legal documents
• Research and analyze complex legal issues related to labor and employment
• Prepare and review contracts and other legal documents
• Conduct legal research and provide legal opinions
• Participate in client meetings and consultations
• Work closely with attorneys and other professionals to ensure compliance with labor laws

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a JD program
• Strong academic performance
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience or demonstrated interest in labor and employment law
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
