MHN IT Inventory Control Specialist

Position Summary

Reporting to the Manager of Technical Services, the IT Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for the receipt, tracking, storage, deployment, and lifecycle management of Information Services equipment and technology assets.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and properly process all Information Services deliveries.
• Manage warehouse and storage areas to ensure accurate inventory control and organization.
• Apply asset tags and maintain electronic records for all technology assets.
• Track inventory levels and communicate supply shortages or discrepancies to leadership.
• Cook up and collect hardware pickups and electronic waste from Marshall Health Network locations.
• Deliver equipment and supplies to various locations using a Marshall Health Network vehicle.
• Maintain accurate documentation of inventory transactions, deliveries, and asset movements.
• Conduct routine inventory audits and shelf reviews within warehouses, stockrooms, and storage areas.
• Prepare computers and other technology equipment for deployment through imaging and configuration processes.
• Maintain asset information within Microsoft SCCM, Active Directory, and other asset management systems.
• Support inventory management initiatives and process improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
