Easterseals New Jersey has been providing services since 1948, focusing on individuals with disabilities and their families. Services include daily living support, community-based programs, and instruction on life skills.
Responsibilities
- Oversight of daily operations across multiple residential sites, ensuring compliance with licensing standards.
- Management of the residential budget, staff schedules, and overtime.
- Maintenance of fiscal, medical, and personal documentation for accuracy.
- Participation in Inter-Disciplinary Team (IDT) meetings and Individual Habilitation Plan (IHP) development.
- Preparation and submission of monthly operational reports.
- Ensuring accurate documentation to meet consumers' needs (employment, recreational, emotional).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in mental health, psychology, sociology, social work, or a related field from an accredited college or university, or a combination of 1+ years of college and at least 4 years of related work/life experience in direct care.
- A minimum of 4 years of related work/life experience in direct care.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a mental health group home setting.
- A minimum of 1 year of management experience.
- Proven leadership, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including working with individuals with mental illness.
- Intermediate computer skills including the ability to complete documentation in an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- A valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
