MH Credit Assistant

This position is on-site 5 days a week located in our Downtown Knoxville, TN office.

About the role

FirstBank is seeking qualified applicants for a Credit Assistant, which represents the bank in our Specialty Lending Division. This position works directly with our credit managers on our fast-paced lending team.

Responsibilities

• Review loan applications and documents for accuracy
• Enter customer information into system
• Gather documentation for the loan
• Coordinate with customers and retailers regarding the loan
• Manage a lending pipeline
• Assist with special projects as needed
• Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, and regulations as applicable to your job duties, including but not limited to: complete compliance training, adhere to internal procedures and controls, report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations, and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• College degree in Accounting or Finance preferred, but not required
• Previous sales experience preferred, but not required
• Experience in lending and understanding of regulations preferred, but not required
