Mgr Station Ops/DOT
To Plan, Organize, Direct And Control All Operations Within The Service Area In A Way That Provides Maximum Service To Customers While Maintaining, A Cost Effective Station Operation.
About the role
Position will report to Senior Manager Pablo Balado. Late or incomplete packets will not be considered. To be eligible for consideration, you must APPLY in Workday AND send packet of required documentation to the address below.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, direct and control all operations within the service area.
- Provide maximum service to customers while maintaining a cost-effective station operation.
- Report to Senior Manager Pablo Balado.
- Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries and feedback.
- Ensure compliance with FedEx field operations, policies, and procedures.
- Manage and supervise team members effectively.
- Handle late or incomplete packets according to company policy.
Requirements
- Two (2) Years College/Equivalent.
- Five (5) Years Business Experience.
- Knowledge of FedEx Field Operations, Features of Service, Systems, Policies and Procedures.
- Experience in a related international service environment preferred.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs.
- Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 75 lbs. With appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.
- Strong basic management, human relations and communications skills.
- Mandatory meeting qualifications as outlined in Section 391 of the Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
- Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum Education: High School diploma/GED.
- Minimum Experience: One year experience in FedEx supervisory/lead roles, ex. Ramp agent/Ops Lead/Team Lead OR Two years management experience (for external candidates) OR Completion of a certified internal leadership development program, including AiM. OR Bachelor's degree OR Twelve months general FedEx operations experience.
- Knowledge, Skills And Abilities: Knowledge of FedEx field operations, features of service, systems, policies and procedures. Strong interpersonal, time management, organizational and communications skills. Basic PC skills, including the use of Microsoft Office software. Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.

Medical exam required. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
