Mgr Station Ops/CDL
Job Duties
Plans, organizes, directs, and controls all operations within the service area to provide maximum service to customers while maintaining a cost-effective station operation.
Minimum Education
High School diploma/GED.
Minimum Experience
- Two (2) years of management experience in the last five (5) years
- Completion of AiM (internal development program)
Experience
- Experience in a related international service environment preferred
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Knowledge of FedEx field operations, features of service, systems, policies and procedures
- Familiarity with various local cultures and customs
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal, time management, organizational and communications skills
- Basic PC skills, including the use of Microsoft Office software
Job Conditions
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person
Medical Exam Required
- Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the federal motor carrier safety regulations
- Must successfully complete weight and balance training if managing any trunk ramp agents
- Must possess a valid commercial driver’s license for type of vehicle assigned and required endorsement hazardous materials (HME)
- FMCSA covered safety sensitive position
Drug Testing
- Subject to regulatory alcohol & drug testing, which includes testing for marijuana, PCP, amphetamines, cocaine & opioids
Work Shift
- Tuesday-Saturday
