About the role
Our Service Managers play a key leadership role in our local Terminix branches. This role is all about leading and motivating our local Pest Technician Teams to provide outstanding service delivery of Terminix products to our valued customers.
Responsibilities
- Monitor branch scheduling and ensure pest tech routes are successfully completed
- Ensure regulatory compliance and safety standards are met or exceeded
- Respond to customer concerns, including resolving cancellation requests
- Inspect and evaluate the performance of Pest Technicians
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of pest control products
- Facilitate continual training of local sales and service teams
Requirements
- An associate’s degree (a four-year degree is highly desirable)
- Must possess a valid driver's license from state of residence
- 1-2 years of related experience is helpful but not required
- Willingness to relocate is highly desirable
- Able to effectively lead and motivate others
- Strong communication skills (interpersonal, written, presenting)
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to develop practical solutions
- Able to build rapport and establish trust with customers and employees
- Detail-oriented with a strong understanding of safety
- Good aptitude for basic/intermediate math for sales and service calculations
- Comfortable working outside and in confined spaces like crawl spaces and attics
