Purpose of Job
The Manager Sales role supports Sasol's Fabric, Home Care and I&I (FHCII) business in North America. Key responsibilities include optimizing sales volumes, prices, market share, and contribution margin for designated application sectors, establishing strong customer relationships, and negotiating contracts.
Key Accountabilities
- Perform, direct, guide, and coordinate commercial activities with and for customers within North America.
- Establish strong customer relationships and achieve superior customer satisfaction to ensure customer loyalty and profitable growth.
- Aid and support the execution of sales and marketing strategies for FHCII markets.
- Optimize sales volumes, prices, and contribution margin for sales into the FHCII sector.
- Implement pricing strategy within agreed guidelines.
- Deliver sales to support growth targets and budgets based on acquired identified market opportunities.
- Define and communicate value propositions to customers.
- Drive the negotiation and execution of contracts with customers.
- Acquire, provide, and document market information from customers.
- Establish accurate sales forecasts.
- Establish excellent internal cross-functional relationships with R&D, S&M, Business Commercialization to coordinate and manage all aspects of daily business and sales.
- Work with Senior Manager Sales to negotiate/execute/manage contracts with Customers, Distributors, Agents, Consultants etc.
Required Education and Experience
- Formal Education: Bachelor’s Degree (chemistry, engineering, or commercial preferred).
- Commercial qualification: MBA/MBL is a plus.
- Working Experience: 5-15 years of relevant experience in the Chemical Industry.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suits (Power Point, Excel, PowerBI), CRM tools, and SAP.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
