About the role

The Philanthropy Engagement Manager is responsible for the coordination and implementation of all broad-spectrum prospects, donor engagement and event communications to increase and retain philanthropic support to North Kansas City Hospital.

Responsibilities

• In partnership with an outside engagement vendor, set the department's overall strategy in conjunction with the senior leadership of the department with the goal of improving prospect acquisition, donor retention and strengthening the overall affinity towards North Kansas City Hospital.
• As a part of the overall annual giving program, oversee the annual employee giving campaign, signature event and other recognition events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (required)
• Minimum of five years experience in event management or annual giving campaigns and appeals
• Donor CRM experience (Raiser's Edge, Sales Force, etc.)
