About the Role
Develops and sets the strategic vision and direction for the passives portfolio, leveraging deep understanding of technical, market, and customer needs to define the product roadmap, drive innovation, and new product development from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with business unit objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the activities of the portfolio product management team.
- Build, lead, coach, and develop a high-performing product management team, establishing clear roles, objectives, development plans, and performance expectations.
- Own portfolio performance and drive corrective actions against revenue, growth, profitability, market share, adoption, and other agreed business KPIs.
- Drive portfolio prioritization and resource allocation, balancing growth opportunities, customer needs, technical feasibility, investment requirements, and strategic fit.
- Define and maintain clear product lifecycle strategies, including investment, expansion, rationalization, end-of-life, and portfolio simplification decisions.
- Develop and communicate the Portfolio Business Plan to internal and external stakeholders, including product vision, long-term portfolio growth targets, value drivers, and KPIs.
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop business cases that translate customer requirements to product features, driving future innovation and next-gen platforms.
- Develop and manage the product roadmap, including feature identification, requirements definition, and alignment with the engineering technology roadmap.
- Ensure cross-functional collaboration to execute the product roadmap, approve budget and product stages, and create buy-in from internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct comprehensive market research to gain insights and identify unmet needs, market trends, and risks.
- Collaborate with engineering and strategy teams to identify and assess the fit of business partner and M&A targets.
- Create detailed business cases for new product initiatives, including market analysis, financial projections, risk assessment, and go-to-market confidence.
- Develop go-to-market strategies, including distribution strategy, and collaborate with downstream product and marketing teams to drive go-to-market processes and initiatives.
Requirements
- Generally requires a Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field with 7 or more years of experience; or a Master’s degree with 5 or more years of experience.

Pay
Competitive base salary: $118,100–$177,200 (subject to change dependent on physical location). Total compensation includes base salary, incentives, and benefits.
