Mgr Accounting (Fixed Assets)

About the Role

The Fixed Assets & Project Accounting Manager oversees all fixed asset transactions using the Company's BNA fixed asset software, including asset purchases, disposals, retirements, transfers, and construction-in-process completion transactions. This role ensures reconciliation between the BNA system and the Company's general ledger (G/L) and maintains fixed asset records in compliance with GAAP and the Company's capitalization policy.

Additionally, this position provides supervision over the Fixed Asset/Project Coordinator, Project Accountant, and Accounting Clerk, directing all related work activities.

Responsibilities

• Process all fixed asset transactions, including purchases, disposals, retirements, transfers, and construction-in-process completion transactions.
• Reconcile the BNA fixed asset system to the Company's general ledger.
• Maintain fixed asset records in accordance with GAAP and the Company's capitalization policy.
• Supervise and direct the work activities of the Project Accountant and Accounting Clerk.
• Provide oversight and guidance to the Fixed Asset/Project Coordinator.
