About the role

The Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital Corporation, a division of Mass General Brigham, seeks a Physical Therapist to assist patients in achieving maximum physical performance while managing disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates effects of treatment at various stages and adjusts treatments to achieve maximum benefit.
• Performs patient assessment and establishes a plan of care.
• Provides in-service education programs for nursing personnel as needed.
• Identifies and documents goals, anticipated progress, and plans for reevaluation.
• Discusses evaluation, goals, and treatment with both patient and family.
• Participates in Hospital-wide quality process improvement.
• Supervises PTAs according to organization policy and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program is required.
• Licensure from 2016 onward requires completion of a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program.
• No experience in lieu of a degree is accepted.
• A Physical Therapist [State License] - Generic - HR Only is required.
• A Class D Passenger Vehicle Driver's License [State License] - Generic - HR Only is preferred.
