Essential Functions
- Lead the Customer First Culture in the assigned store
- Conduct weekly management team meetings/monthly store meetings and encourage on-going open communication, feedback, and follow-up
- Create the work schedule according to operating hours to make sure the store is staffed sufficiently
- Monitor and analyze business processes and results to achieve profitable store goals
- Observe and evaluate each employee's job performance against goals
- Capable of performing the required reports with an understanding of the price book
- Connect with the community to establish positive relationships, development, and store success
- Maintain cigarette counts
- Secure lottery tickets per company policy and perform daily audits on the tickets
- Administer corrective action plans/conference reports(write-ups)
Physical Requirements
- Regularly required to communicate by talking and hearing
- Very active and requires constant standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and some climbing
- Frequent lifting and/or moving items over 40 pounds with the aid of material handling equipment
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
Work Schedule
Leaders are required to work 50 hrs. per week. Leaders are to work 1-weekend day and 1-night shift per month.
