Responsibilities

• Responsible for all areas of operations of the store in the Store Leader’s absence, which includes Guest Service, Profit and Loss, Human Resources, and all other functions of the store.
• Performs specific tasks as assigned by the Store Leader.
• Aids the Store Leader in maintaining the store to Minuteman Food Mart standards.
• Adheres to all Government ABC and Tobacco regulations.
• Maintains reliable transportation to meet scheduled work times and timely deposits as required.
• Ensures all guests receive “OUTSTANDING” Guest Service by setting a good example for fellow employees and ensuring this is done by all employees.
• Notifies the Store Leader of any store maintenance issues.
• Fulfills all tasks necessary to score 100% on all branded Mystery Shops.
• Utilizes suggested selling techniques with Guests.
• Maintains store equipment, including fountain, coffee, and food service areas.
• Safeguards cooler, store shelves, and displays to ensure they are clean, fully stocked, and fronted.
• Follows proper clocking in and out procedures through the company computer.
• Collaborates with the entire staff to ensure they are performing all necessary tasks to achieve 100% on all branded Mystery Shops.

Requirements

• Some management experience preferred.
• Previous retail experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Schedule

• Three-second shifts.
• Two first shifts.
• The second shift will have a member of management on both shifts.
• The two-day shifts will be the days that the manager will be off, and the assistant will be responsible for all Store Leader tasks for those days.
