Mfg. Technician I (MFGTE006280)

Roles And Responsibilities

• Ensure safety is the foundation of daily work through vigilance and accountability.
• Set up and operate machinery in support of the production process.
• Perform operations per specifications on drawing/print and documented procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times.
• Able to use basic hand tools (i.e., utility knife) and machines (i.e., sandblaster, speed lathe).
• Able to read blueprints/engineering drawings.
• Good understanding of quality control principles.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Complete daily production logs as required.
• Complete required equipment maintenance checks.
• Responsible for complying with internal quality systems and procedures.

Required Skills, Education & Experience

• High School education or GED required.
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Follow detailed instructions, do accurate work at a rapid pace and meet scheduling deadlines.
• Manual dexterity and the ability to carry out complex, repetitive tasks quickly and methodically.
• Available to work overtime as required.
• Ability to carry/lift up to 40 pounds and be able to rotate item being handled.
• Work on feet for entire shift.

Preferred Skills, Education & Experience

• Previous mechanical or other manufacturing experience preferred.
• Autoclave and/or Sandblast experience is a plus.
• Experience with measuring equipment.
• Ability to read part drawings (flag notes, dimensions, tolerances).
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to work with minimal supervision.
