Safety & Quality Leadership

Champion high safety and quality standards for both products and personnel.

Satellite Integration & Testing

Perform integration and testing of Amazon Leo satellites and complex subassemblies in cleanroom and ESD-controlled environments.

Hardware Handling

Congduct rigging and critical lifts of bulky, sensitive hardware with precision and care.

Precision Tooling

• Utilize calibrated tools such as torque wrenches, optical inspection devices, micrometers, and calipers.

Technical Interpretation

Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.

Process Compliance

Execute work in accordance with established procedures, specifications, and work instructions.

Non-Conformance Documentation

Identify and document non-conformities as required to ensure traceability and corrective action.

Digital Systems Use

• Operate computer software programs including Manufacturing Execution System (MES) in SAP.

Collaboration & Improvement

Partner with Manufacturing Engineers (ME) to develop, refine, and document activities, driving continuous improvement opportunities.

Operational Support

Perform other related duties as assigned to maintain an efficient, safe, and effective work environment.

Flexibility

Work overtime when required and adapt to working independently or collaboratively within a team.

Additional Requirements

• Estimated shift time: 1st shift Wed-Sun 4/10s (5:00pm-3:30am).
• Standing for long periods of time and repetitive assembly operations.
• Climbing up and down ladders, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, and stretching may be required to perform the functions of this position.
• Able to lift at least 25 lbs. unassisted.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent 3+ years of electrical or mechanical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience and strong technical background in relevant fields of automated or non-automated material handling equipment.
• Experience in the aerospace industry, automotive industry, medical device industry, aviation, military or other high-reliability operating environment.
• Experience in a fast-paced production environment.
• Experience working with FOD, ESD sensitive hardware and clean room requirements.
• A demonstrated ability in reading/understanding technical drawings, work instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Some basic knowledge of electrical, optical and mechanical systems, antennas, functional testing and/or satellite components.
• Ability to use multiple types of precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Able to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a high-paced, challenging work environment.
