Metrology Supervisor, Megafactory

The role is based in the Greater Houston Area (TX) with initial support required in Fremont (CA) for 6-12 months. The Metrology Supervisor will be part of the Metrology group in the Quality organization, supervising operations in the Metrology Lab which operates 24/7 across four shifts.

About the role

• Supervise Metrology Technician development through training and project management
• Support cross-functional teams and supplier meetings
• Implement Metrology standards and best practices
• Ensure Metrology equipment operates efficiently and calibrates correctly
• Collaborate with engineers on continuous improvement and RCA
• Conduct BOM reviews and support QA teams

Responsibilities

• Support Metrology Technician expertise development
• Manage Metrology Lab operations 24/7
• Coordinate calibration activities
• Work with Dimensional and Quality Engineers on continuous improvement
• Conduct BOM reviews and AQL checks
• Support RCA and provide updates to executives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
• 5+ years experience in Manufacturing or Quality environments
• Strong knowledge of Dimensional Metrology and GD&T
• Flexible availability for 24/7 work
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and support team growth
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
