About the role

The Metrology Lab Support Assistant I is responsible for supporting Clean Room Metrology Lab operations, coordinating with engineering on samples priorities, and executing metrology jobs using developed BKMs and available recipes on SEM metrology tools.

Responsibilities

• Supports Clean Room Metrology Lab operations
• Captures and analyzes metrology images with AMAT proprietary algorithms and software, following predefined recipes
• Coordinates with engineering on samples priorities
• Mounts, dismounts, cleans, and handles customer samples – coupons and wafers
• Tracks and maintains order of incoming jobs and their execution
• Knowledgeably operates laboratory process equipment and instrumentation
• Executes metrology jobs using developed BKMs and available recipes on SEM metrology tools

Requirements

• College degree in Material, Electrical, Chemistry Engineering, or a related field
• Basic data analytics skills
• Hands-on experience for lab operations, including sample handling and equipment operations
• Team player

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience (New College Graduates are welcome)
