About the role

The Metrology Lab Manager oversees the operation of a state-of-the-art laboratory, ensuring accurate measurements and compliance with industry standards. The role involves managing a team of technicians and engineers, developing and implementing quality control procedures, and maintaining equipment calibration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the metrology lab, including maintenance and calibration of instruments.
• Develop and enforce quality control protocols to ensure accuracy and reliability of measurements.
• Manage a team of technicians and engineers, providing guidance and training as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Stay updated with advancements in metrology techniques and equipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in metrology or a related field.
• Experience managing a team of technicians and engineers.
• Strong knowledge of metrology principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Proficient in using metrology equipment and software.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 and similar accreditation standards.
