Duties And Responsibilities

  • Update and maintain the N43 CNO availability on-time completion (OTC) tracker.
  • Develop any required metrics, charts and graphs from the OTC tracker and DoMD and provide them in Power Point presentations.
  • Update and maintain the following and make necessary modifications as required by N43 leadership:
    • Bi-Weekly CNO Execution and Planning Placemat PowerPoint presentations
    • Support data inputs into the CNSL/RMC/CNRMC Planning and Execution Dashboard
    • Weekly CNO Execution and Planning Risk Summary files
    • CNO availability data for the monthly Financial Rainbow chart
  • Update, maintain, track, and report Departure from Specification (DFS) metrics.
  • Analyze metrics for fleet and class wide performance and provide recommendations to N43 leadership.
  • Update, maintain, track, and report Electronic Advisory Record Repository Tracking System (EARRTS) metrics.
  • Analyze metrics and provide recommendations to N43 management.
  • Develop, update and maintain Maintenance & Material Management (3M) metrics.
  • Analyze metrics and provide recommendations to N43 management.
  • Develop various ad-hoc CNO Planning and Execution graphs, charts, and reports.
  • Generate Power Point presentations outlining various results and recommended actions.
  • Provide on-site subject matter expert response to in-person, telephone or e-mail inquiries or concerns.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other related scientific/technical discipline with fifteen (15) years naval shipboard maintenance experience.
  • Five (5) years professional experience in database design, and management, and data analysis involving complex projects.
  • Five (5) years expertise with naval maintenance and/or naval information technology and IT systems.
  • Five (5) years experience with CNO availability processes and milestones.
  • Familiarity with US Navy, to include System and Type Commanders, Regional Maintenance Centers, Naval Warfare Centers.
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications and other project management tools and software.
  • Effective oral, written, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong customer focus and effective inter-personal skills.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Professional and mature demeanor in all conduct with all levels of employees.
  • Strong time management skills, prioritization, and follow through.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Able to work with all levels of employees with professionalism and tact.
  • Able to handle multiple tasks.
  • Able to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active Duty and Government Service US Navy experience in NAVSEA/Regional Maintenance Center/Shipyard domains.
