Meter Reader - Rochester, NY

Responsibilities

• No experience required, paid training.
• Meter Reader Technicians have assigned routes each day.
• The meter reader picks up a handheld device from the local office at the start of the day.
• The handheld device is returned at the end of the day.
• Technicians work from their personal vehicle using the handheld devices for services.

Qualifications

• Outdoor experience preferred.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
• Must be able to walk, bend, and lift up to 75 pounds.
• Must be computer proficient.
• Must be available to work overtime and some weekends (as needed).
• Must have an HS diploma or GED.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.

Customer/Client Service Experience

Is a plus.

Schedule

• Full-time/Day-time positions.
• Remote mobile office, equipment provided.
• Must be available to work overtime and some weekends (as needed).
