Metal Welder/Fabricator
About the role
Core & Main is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Metal Welder/Fabricator to join our fabrication team. This position requires extensive hands-on experience working with both aluminum and steel in a production or custom fabrication environment. The ideal candidate will be proficient in reading blueprints, fabricating components from raw materials, and performing high-quality welds that meet customer and company specifications.

Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of on-the-job experience in welding and fabrication with aluminum and steel
- Experience with setup and usage of various fabrication shop equipment (ex: Band Saw, CNC Plasma Table, Ironworker)
Preferred Qualifications
- Welding certifications
- Forklift experience
- Experience with custom fabrication, structural fabrication, or industrial manufacturing
Physical Requirements
Ability to work in a fabrication shop environment with exposure to heat, noise, and welding fumes. Ability to safely handle fabrication tools, machinery, and materials.
