Key Responsibilities

  • Operate all deburring equipment required in the performance of the position.
  • Achieve the required edge break and/or radius as required by work instructions.
  • Select the proper deburring media as defined by the work instructions.
  • Understand customer specifications regarding visual non-conformances and surface finishes.
  • Perform hand drilling and drill press operations.
  • Tap holes and perform assembly operations.
  • Utilize measuring equipment such as height gage, micrometers, calipers, radius gages, thread gages, etc., as applicable.
  • Read, interpret, and work from blueprints, sketches, or product specifications.
  • Complete required documentation related to work orders.
  • Show good organizational skills.
  • Maintain good housekeeping practices.
  • Understand, implement, and maintain the Company's quality policy in the performance of all duties and responsibilities.
  • Ensure compliance with societal requirements, including laws, statutes, rules, and regulations, codes, environmental considerations, health and safety factors, and conservation of energy and materials.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations.
  • Complete all required compliance training.
  • Maintain knowledge of and adhere to MB Aerospace’s internal compliance policies and procedures.
  • Keep up to date with changing regulations and policies.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
