GRINDER (2nd Shift)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Move material on press to forge under lead direction.
• Read and re-mark parts with correct serialization in forging environment.
• Drive forklift to move and transport material.
• Use calipers and other measuring equipment to determine forged size.
• Train to move material manually with tongs.
• Willing to train to drive manipulators for advanced material movement.
• Willing to train to operate grinding equipment and input forging stock material.
• Perform other related duties as requested.

Qualifications

• Closely follow instructions.
• Communicate verbally and in writing with managers and coworkers.
• Maintain quality practices and safety standards.
• Be forklift operations and safety certified.
• Work overtime as required.

Physical Requirements

• Single-task focus and situational awareness.
• Ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds.
• On their feet for the majority of working hours.
