Metabolic Educator

Inizio Engage has partnered with Boehringer Ingelheim to deliver impactful clinical education and support for Healthcare Professionals across primary care settings. We are seeking experienced, credentialed educators for Obesity/Liver Disease on behalf of Boehringer Ingelheim who are passionate about metabolic health and driven to improve understanding of obesity and liver disease through high-quality disease-state education.

About the role

As a Metabolic Educator, you will serve as a field-based clinical expert responsible for delivering evidence-based disease-state education in obesity and liver disease to Healthcare Professionals and office staff across your assigned territory.

• Provide disease state-related educational support, awareness, and resources to identified Healthcare Professionals and office staff.
• Present educational programs, both live and virtual, to Healthcare Professionals in accordance with the needs of each office.
• Foster awareness of speaker sessions to HCPs through the client’s speaker bureau.
• Provide support at client convention booths.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional and matrix partners to align on strategy, share insights, and drive cohesive execution of organizational goals.
• Use or distribute only approved materials provided by the client, without changing or copying the materials.
• Attend and complete all required training courses and related competency assessments to an appropriate standard and within a specified timeframe.
• Develop and strengthen relationships with appropriate customers and other matrix partners.
• Facilitate the development and provision of education and educational materials across specified accounts.
• Complete all required administrative responsibilities in a timely manner, including daily computer updates, weekly activity reports, emails, and monthly expense reports.
• Maintain professional registration and/or licensing as required by applicable state laws.
• Attend local and other meetings to keep abreast of plans, activities, and developments and to exchange knowledge and experience within the team.
• Maintain all company equipment and materials in accordance with company instructions.
• Comply with all Inizio Engage and Client Policies and Procedures.
• Be contactable during working hours to answer queries.
• Possess a full valid US driver’s license at all times and notify the company immediately of any offences or accumulation of penalty points.
• Perform other duties as requested.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (BSN required), Registered Dietitian (Bachelor's in Nutrition required), Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, or Physician Assistant with 3+ years of post-education clinical experience.
• Active U.S. healthcare license in area of training.
• Experience in metabolic health required.
• Preferred certifications: Certified Obesity Educator, Certificate of Advanced Education in Obesity Medicine, or Certified Diabetes Educator.
• Demonstrate effective and professional communication.
• Ability to present to various groups of people including physicians and other members of the office staff.
• Up to 20% overnight travel may be required; occasional weekends may be required.
• May be required to obtain specific disease state certification in obesity and metabolic disorders within the first year of employment.
• Valid U.S. driver's license.

Pay

The base pay range for this position is $88K – $163K per year. The final compensation offered to a successful candidate will be determined by factors such as experience, skills, internal equity, and business needs.
