About the role

Inizio Engage is partnering with Boehringer Ingelheim to provide clinical education and support for Healthcare Professionals in primary care settings. We are seeking experienced, credentialed educators for Obesity/Liver Disease.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a field-based clinical expert responsible for delivering evidence-based disease-state education in obesity and liver disease to Healthcare Professionals and office staff.
  • Present educational programs, both live and virtual, to Healthcare Professionals in accordance with the needs of each office.
  • Foster awareness of speaker sessions to HCPs through client’s speaker bureau.
  • Provide support at client convention booths.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional and matrix partners to align on strategy, share insights, and drive cohesive execution of organizational goals.
  • Facilitate the development and provision of education and educational materials across specified accounts, as determined by the client and Inizio Engage.
  • Complete all required administrative responsibilities in a timely manner.
  • Attend and complete all training courses and related competency assessments that Inizio Engage and client requires, to an appropriate standard and within a specified timeframe.
  • Maintain professional registration and/or licensing as required by applicable state laws.
  • Perform other duties as requested.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (BSN required), Registered Dietitian (Bachelor's in Nutrition required), Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, or Physician Assistant with 3+ years of post-education clinical experience.
  • Active U.S. healthcare license in area of training.
  • Experience in metabolic health required.
  • PREFERRED: Certified Obesity Educator Certificate of Advanced Education in Obesity Medicine Certified Diabetes Educator.
  • Demonstrate effective and professional communication.

Qualifications

  • Full valid US driver's license at all times.
  • Ability to attend local and other meetings, as required.
  • Ability to perform up to 20% overnight travel.
  • Occasional weekends may be required.
  • The jobholder may be required to obtain specific disease state certification in obesity and metabolic disorders within first year of employment.

Schedule

Some of these could include but are not limited to: daily computer updates, weekly summary of activity reports, emails and monthly expense reports.
