MES Engineer

Technical Scope

• MES platforms
• SQL / data modeling
• C# / .NET / Javascript or equivalent scripting
• APIs, integrations, basic web technologies
• OPC / PLC data integration

Nice to Have

• Experience with Parsec TrakSYS, AVEVA MES, PLEX, or Proficy
• Experience with OPC UA
• Experience with 3rd party web controls (e.g. DevExtreme or equivalent)
• Basic knowledge of PLC tag structures and communications
• Experience with MQTT / UNS
• Experience developing SCADA systems

Physical Demands

• Sitting at a desk or console for extended periods
• Must be able to be fitted for Personal Protective Equipment for certain customers
• Standing and walking on a concrete surface for extended periods
• Kneeling periodically on concrete or padded surfaces
• Lifting and carrying 25 lbs. or more
• Walking/working in mezzanine (screen guard) area (20 – 25 ft. high, wire mesh floor)
• Climbing a ladder or metal stairs to access mezzanine (screen guard) area
• Work in wash-down locations with wet/slippery floors

Work Schedule

• Ability to work overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays as required
• Must be able to travel and work extended hours

• The work environment for this job is a combination of office and industrial setting with little exposure to inclement weather
• Industrial environments vary and can include dusty, dirty, hot or wet conditions or in confined areas or other uncomfortable places
