MES Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Execute MES projects including installation, configuration, and deployment of MES platforms (e.g., Syncade or similar systems).
• Develop reports, system interfaces, and integrations with Automation, DCS, SCADA, and ERP systems.
• Configure servers, databases, and data connections to various third-party systems.
• Troubleshoot system, network, and application issues quickly and effectively.
• Implement custom configuration and software components to meet project requirements.
• Perform on-site customer visits for installation, commissioning, startup, and end-user training.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions are delivered on time and within scope.

Required Skills

• Proven project delivery experience involving data systems and MES technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, server setup, and network configuration.
• Hands-on experience with MES systems (Syncade or other major MES platforms).
• Familiarity with SQL, VBScript, XML, XSL, and similar technologies.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
• Able to work effectively in a collaborative engineering environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-driven, with consistent follow-through and a commitment to continuous learning.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent technical degree).
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to travel for on-site commissioning and training activities.
