Mergers and Acquisitions Manager

About the role

HHM CPAs is seeking an M&A Manager to assist with all aspects of transaction engagements. A background in public accounting is preferred, along with relevant credentials such as a CVA, but is not required. This role will be onsite in Memphis, TN.

Responsibilities

• Lead both buy-side and sell-side transactions
• Prepare and analyze Quality of Earnings (QoE) reports, profitability, working capital, and cash flow
• Review detailed financial records, income statements, balance sheets
• Validate EBITDA adjustments and evaluate risk
• Conduct research and statistical analysis

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of financial statements, Quality of Earnings (QoE), due diligence, bank underwriting
• Strong GAAP expertise
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to effectively manage multiple projects
• One of the following designations is preferred: ASA, ABV, CVA, AVA, or CBA
• CPA license is a plus
