About the role
The Mergers & Acquisitions Practice Group at MoFo represents Fortune 500 companies, private equity firms, investment banks, and privately-held companies in their most high-profile and complex mergers and acquisitions.
Responsibilities
- Handle domestic and cross-border transactions on both the buy and sell-side.
- Concisely and effectively communicate complex matters in oral and written form.
- Possess a solid understanding of complex structural and corporate issues pertaining to acquisitions, divestitures, strategic alliances, spin-offs, carve-outs, leveraged buyouts, recapitalization, and tender offers.
- Have excellent business and legal problem-solving skills and commitment to delivering excellent client service in a team environment.
- Take on increased levels of responsibility and demonstrate a strong work ethic and leadership skills.
Requirements
- Significant experience in mergers + acquisitions and other strategic transactions.
- Admitted to the state bar in which you are practicing or eligible to waive in.
Qualifications
- High performer with 2 – 4 years of significant experience in mergers + acquisitions and other strategic transactions.
- Excellent business and legal problem-solving skills and commitment to delivering excellent client service in a team environment.
- Strong work ethic, excellent leadership skills, and action-oriented interest in taking on increased levels of responsibility.
Skills
- Ability to concisely and effectively communicate complex matters in oral and written form.
- Outstanding research and analytical skills.
