Overview

The Supervisor, Merchandiser is responsible for performing merchandising activities, constructing displays, and stocking SGWS products in retail accounts as requested by sales teams or retail customers. This role includes installing promotional point-of-sale materials to achieve display objectives and stocking products as needed.

Responsibilities

• Train new Merchandisers on policies and procedures
• Oversee designated employees and monitor the work assigned to them
• Assist sales team with maintaining positive relationships with retail customers
• Ensure all company products are properly displayed
• Receive, investigate, and resolve internal and external customer complaints and requests
• Perform merchandising activities as needed; cover routes when Merchandisers are out on vacation
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency plus two years of experience
• Previous supervisory experience
• Must possess a reliable vehicle, a valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain and maintain auto liability insurance by State laws
• Stay apprised of federal, state, and local laws affecting the beverage/alcohol industry within account responsibility
• Must be at least 21 years of age

Physical Demands

• Considerable time may be spent sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer or mobile device
• Activities may include walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping
• Considerable time spent driving throughout the day with segments up to 2 hours
• May require lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 48 lbs

Pay

Starting base salary between $45,000 - $55,000 per year, plus eligibility for sales incentives and auto allowance. Final offer will be based on the candidate's education, skills, and experience.
