Merchandising Supervisor (Las Vegas, NV)

The Merchandising Supervisor oversees a team of merchandisers and assists sales teams in nurturing and growing client relationships. This role also performs merchandising activities, constructs displays, stocks SGWS products, and builds and maintains displays in retail accounts as requested by sales teams or retail customers.
Responsibilities
- Train new Merchandisers on policies and procedures
- Oversee designated employees and monitor the work assigned to them
- Assist sales team with maintaining positive relationships with retail customers
- Ensure all company products are properly displayed
- Receive, investigate, and resolve internal and external customer complaints and requests
- Perform merchandising activities as needed; cover routes when Merchandisers are out on vacation
- Stay apprised of federal, state, and local laws affecting the beverage/alcohol industry within account responsibility
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency plus two years of experience
- Previous supervisory experience
- Must possess a reliable vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain and maintain auto liability insurance by State laws
- Must be at least 21 years of age
Physical Demands
- Considerable time may be spent sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer or mobile device
- Activities may include walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping
- Considerable time spent driving throughout the day with segments up to 2 hours
- May require lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 48 lbs
