Merchandiser - Wrangler Female
Job Summary
Supports the female segment of the Wrangler business for North America. Assists in creating a comprehensive merchandise strategy and line plan to deliver against consumer/retailer needs. Supports the merchandise director with ongoing product line management, gathers costing and prepares financial analysis on designated key performance indicators (KPIs). Ensures successful execution of seasonal product line launches via calendar development and process/timeline adherence.
Responsibilities
- Creates merchandising briefs and line plans.
- Sets development priorities by providing business analysis to cross-functional teams.
- Provides and manages cost targets for product lines to design, technical services and sourcing, maintains replenishment and seasonal financial analysis documents for review with management and finance.
- Ongoing product line management, including setting style/sku level productivity targets, product portfolio management, and innovation pipeline maintenance.
- Attends key customer demand reviews/forecast reviews and reports known demand changes internally.
- Tracks against the GTM (go to market) calendar and drives accountability for timeline adherence.
- Acts as a primary liaison between design, sales, supply chain, sourcing and manufacturing with regards to product line execution.
- Responsible creating visual presentations and curating product for account meetings.
- Attends and presents strategy and seasonal line releases to key accounts.
- In partnership with marketing and design, successfully carries out the seasonal strategies and communication plan for new product launches.
- Works on development plans for direct reports and provides oversight for their daily activities.
