Merchandiser Lead - Nashville TN

About the role

Represents Empire to customers for merchandising, delivery needs, and store sets. Assists customers in expanding sales through effective use of point-of-sale (POS) and merchandising materials.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates daily assignments of the Merchandising team.
• Visits customer establishments (package stores, taverns, supermarkets, restaurants, hotels, and clubs) to promote the use of display items for company products.
• Assists Operations with delivery issues.
• Delivers and sets up promotional display items.
• Arranges product displays in customer establishments.
• Educates customers on the effectiveness of display racks to increase end-customer awareness and sales.
• Forwards customer comments and sales opportunities to assigned sales representatives.
• Coordinates Merchandisers' weekly schedules after communicating with District Managers.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the District Manager.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; or an associate degree from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
