Retail Distribution Center Driver Lead-Nashville TN

Purpose

At Ashley, the Driver leads deliveries of products to appointed locations in an efficient, effective, and safe manner, while promoting exceptional customer service through quality workmanship and clear, professional communication. You will manage driving to customers' homes on pre-routed trips, ensuring a world-class experience for our customers.

What You’ll Do

• Training, delivering, and managing the dock as well as delivering and filling in for home delivery drivers.
• Delivering products ranging from door drop-off to full set-up in a customer's home.
• Following best practices for safety, both on the road and while loading or unloading a truck.
• Communicating with dispatchers, drivers, and other team members to make deliveries.
• Demonstrate Ashley's Core and Growth Values in all job functions.

What You Bring

• Likely to work in the US.
• At least 21 years old.
• Good driving record for at least 3 years.
• Box Truck Delivery Driving Experience.
• Regularly lift objects over 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to transport loads of 75+ lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Flexible working hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Maintain reliable attendance.
• Thriving in a team environment.
