Merchandiser
Merchandiser Role Overview
Merges products by stocking shelves, rotating products, setting up displays, cooler stocking/rotation, backroom organization, and moving products from backroom to sales floor.
Sells and executes all promotions.
Creates and utilizes point-of-sale signage.
Develops good customer relations.
Serves all customers as scheduled.
Orders product and/or runs invoices.
Cleans equipment, maintains backroom storage in an orderly fashion, and rotates stock.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED highly preferred.
- Three to five years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a high school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Must be able to perform basic financial calculations, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Must have good oral and written communication skills.
- Must be able to perform heavy physical labor for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Must be able to meet PBV driving qualifications.
- Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.
- Must have a positive attitude and attention to detail.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- Must be a self-starter with excellent follow-up skills.
- Must be customer-oriented and focused.
