We are seeking a talented individual to join our MercerWell team at Mercer in a hybrid role requiring at least three days a week in the office.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic and growing MercerWell Practice within our Health & Benefits (H&B) line of business. You will lead consulting engagements for sophisticated and complex clients with 5,000+ employees, playing a pivotal role in developing and executing population health management strategies. Responsibilities include managing engagements such as marketplace overviews, strategic planning, procuring and implementing solutions, and data analytics for monitoring impact. Additionally, you will drive sales of these engagements.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage your professional experience and expand your skillset across population health management.
  • Develop and create demand for new products/services in the marketplace.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of carrier and vendor capabilities to align resources with client needs.
  • Negotiate competitive fees and solution options leveraging Mercer's size and reputation.
  • Lead complex client engagements, including managing service delivery, strategy, financial evaluations, procurements, implementations, and ongoing monitoring.
  • Accountable for revenue and profitability of client projects.
  • Generate sales by expanding revenues from existing clients and leading prospecting efforts with new clients.
  • Lead and participate in new business opportunities with sales channel partners.
  • Incorporate compliance and professional standards into all work processes, including peer review and maintaining required licensure.
  • Thrive in an environment that embraces AI and technology-enabled tools.
  • Understand the population health management marketplace and communicate Mercer's position on industry trends to clients.

Requirements

  • BA/BS or advanced degree, preferably in psychology, social work, public health, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10+ years’ experience in identifying, designing, recommending, and implementing business solutions for employers' complex population health management challenges.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a demanding work environment, working both independently and on a team.
  • Strong, innovative sales and marketing skills, with the ability to market organizational strengths successfully.
  • Superior business acumen, analytical, strategic planning, oral and written communication, interpersonal, and listening skills.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Proven management skills in leading large, complex projects.
  • Knowledge of MS Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint).

Pay

The applicable base salary range for this role is $151,000 to $302,500. The base pay offered will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. This position may also be eligible for performance-based incentives.

Schedule

Hybrid role requiring at least three days per week in the office. Office-based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week for in-person collaboration.
