We are seeking a talented individual to join our MercerWell team at Mercer in a hybrid role requiring at least three days a week in the office.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic and growing MercerWell Practice within our Health & Benefits (H&B) line of business. You will lead consulting engagements for sophisticated and complex clients with 5,000+ employees, playing a lead role in developing and executing population health management strategies. You will manage engagements including marketplace overviews, strategic planning, procuring, developing, and implementing solutions, as well as data analytics for monitoring impact. Additionally, you will drive sales of such engagements.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage your existing professional experience and expand your skillset across a wide variety of areas related to population health management.
  • Develop and create demand for new products/services in the marketplace.
  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of carrier and vendor capabilities across sectors that impact our clients to best align those resources to client needs.
  • Leverage Mercer's size and reputation to negotiate highly competitive fees and solution options from carriers and vendors.
  • Lead complex client engagements, including managing overall service delivery, strategy, financial evaluations, procurements, implementations, and ongoing monitoring.
  • Be accountable for revenue/profitability for client projects.
  • Generate sales by expanding revenues from existing clients and by leading prospecting efforts with new clients.
  • Lead and participate in new business opportunities with sales channel partners.
  • Incorporate compliance and professional standards into all work processes, including peer review and maintaining required licensure.
  • Thrive and be motivated by an environment that embraces AI and technology-enabled tools.
  • Understand the population health management marketplace and effectively communicate Mercer's position on the latest industry trends to clients.

Requirements

  • BA/BS, or advanced degree (psychology, social work, public health, or related field preferred).
  • Minimum 10+ years’ experience in identifying, designing, recommending, and implementing efficient, innovative business solutions to employers' complex population health management challenges.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a demanding work environment and to work independently and on a team.
  • Strong, innovative sales and marketing skills plus the ability to market organizational strengths successfully.
  • Superior business acumen, analytical, strategic planning, oral and written communication, interpersonal, and listening skills.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Proven management skills in leading large, complex projects.
  • Knowledge of MS Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint).

Pay

The applicable base salary range for this role is $151,000 to $302,500. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.

Schedule

This is a hybrid role requiring at least three days a week in the office. Office-based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person.
