We are seeking a talented individual to join our MercerWell team at Mercer in a hybrid role requiring at least three days a week in the office.

As a MercerWell Senior Lead Consultant, you will:

  • Leverage your professional experience and expand your skillset across population health management.
  • Develop and create demand for new products/services in the marketplace.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of carrier and vendor capabilities to align resources with client needs.
  • Negotiate competitive fees and solution options using Mercer's size and reputation.
  • Lead complex client engagements, including strategy, financial evaluations, procurements, implementations, and ongoing monitoring.
  • Drive revenue and profitability for client projects.
  • Generate sales by expanding revenues from existing clients and prospecting new clients.
  • Lead and participate in new business opportunities with sales channel partners.
  • Incorporate compliance and professional standards into all work processes.
  • Thrive in an environment that embraces AI and technology-enabled tools.
  • Understand the population health management marketplace and communicate Mercer's position on industry trends.

Requirements

  • BA/BS or advanced degree, preferably in psychology, social work, public health, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10+ years’ experience identifying, designing, recommending, and implementing solutions for employers' complex population health management challenges.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a demanding work environment, working both independently and on a team.
  • Strong, innovative sales and marketing skills, with the ability to market organizational strengths successfully.
  • Superior business acumen, analytical, strategic planning, oral and written communication, interpersonal, and listening skills.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Proven management skills in leading large, complex projects.
  • Knowledge of MS Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint).

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic and growing MercerWell Practice within our Health & Benefits (H&B) line of business. You will lead consulting engagements for sophisticated and complex clients with 5,000+ employees. As the lead MercerWell consultant, you will develop and execute population health management strategies, manage engagements including marketplace overviews, strategic planning, procuring, developing, and implementing solutions, and use data analytics to monitor impact. You will also drive sales of these engagements.

Pay

The applicable base salary range for this role is $151,000 to $302,500, determined by factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. This position may also be eligible for performance-based incentives.

Schedule

This is a hybrid role requiring at least three days per week in the office. Teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week for in-person collaboration.
