Help create unforgettable moments by joining the Event Staff Team at Mercantile Hall, a charming wedding and event space in Burlington, Wisconsin. As part of the BEDO Brands collection, which includes 10 South Venue and Bon Bon Belle Bridal Boutique, we’re passionate about service, weddings, and hospitality. Responsibilities

• Greet and thank guests upon arrival
• Set tables and chairs for events or tours
• Hang additional lighting and customer items as required
• Set out linens and fold napkins
• Restock bathroom and kitchen supplies
• Clear out kitchen for caterers
• Pack up guest items if required
• Set ceremony chairs as directed by Event Manager
• Set outdoor furniture (screens, tables, chairs, heaters)
• Light candles
• Greet and direct guests
• Remove garbage
• Move ceremony chairs
• Assist with putting away chairs, tables, and other furniture at the end of the night
• Handle other preparation tasks as delegated by the Event Manager

Requirements

• Currently employed full-time or part-time with flexibility to work at our venue
• Experienced in hospitality and/or customer service
• Lives within 20 minutes of the venue
• Comfortable with physical activity and able to stand for the entirety of a shift
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Excellent communication skills with guests
• Works well within a team and independently
