MEPS – Bilingual Field Interviewer
About the role
Westat is seeking Bilingual Field Interviewers for the Medical Expenditure Panel Survey (MEPS), a study of health care costs and usage in the United States sponsored by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ). MEPS is a panel survey featuring several rounds of interviews with the same respondents over two full calendar years. Interviewers conduct in‑person and computer‑assisted video interviews in English and Spanish with adult household members from a nationally representative sample, using a Westat‑provided laptop. MS Teams will be used to conduct interviews with candidates for this position. The opportunity will be posted for a minimum of seven days, with applications accepted on an ongoing basis. Upon successful completion, interviewers may be considered for reassignment to other Westat field data collection projects. Working on this study can be a fascinating and rewarding experience for reliable self‑starters.
