Responsibilities
- Aid the preconstruction manager and project manager in preparing the scope of work.
- Create and write mechanical and electrical bid packages, and conduct pre-award interviews.
- Conduct budget reviews and analyses, perform constructability reviews and provide recommendations, and manage scheduling reviews and updates.
- Support the project team in coordinating and planning work with trades and subcontractors.
- Resolve mechanical field issues during the construction phase, conduct quality inspections and reviews of installed work, and coordinate and witness system testing, local building authority inspections, and assist with MEP commissioning of systems.
- Show proficiency in various disciplines such as plumbing, piping, HVAC (required), fire protection, medical gases, temperature controls, and other control systems, integrated systems like fire alarm systems, nurse call stations, security systems, CATV, loudspeaker systems, etc., and electrical high and low voltage systems.
- Be proficient in Microsoft applications (Windows, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) at an intermediate to advanced level, Primavera P6 Scheduling Software at an intermediate level, Viewpoint at an intermediate level, and Bluebeam at an intermediate level.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 – 10 years of relevant work experience in the construction industry.
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Science, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
- OSHA 30 Hour Certification is preferred.
