Job Summary

Provides direct behavioral health patient care.

Responsibilities

• Aids patients with activities of daily living.
• Performs diagnostic procedures and therapeutic interventions.
• Observes and documents patient behavior and activities.
• Suggests modifications to the treatment plan based on observed changes.
• Maintains a therapeutic relationship with assigned patients.
• Communicates effectively with supervising RN to clarify assignments.
• Ensures patient comfort through optimal service delivery.
• Prevents patient injury through safe practice.
• Contributes to efficient departmental operations.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree preferred.
• Behavioral Health experience and college courses in psychology preferred.
• Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
