Mental Health Worker - Community Based Team, ACT

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Human Services, or another behavioral science and experience working with adults with serious mental illness (SMI)
• Bachelor's degree in a non-behavioral science field with experience supporting adults with serious mental illness or individuals with similar human service needs
• High school diploma or equivalent with relevant experience working with adults with serious mental illness or individuals with similar human service needs
• Related training or certifications (e.g., Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, Home Health Aide) are preferred
• Experience in human services, healthcare, education, or other helping professions is a plus
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to provide rehabilitation, recovery-oriented support, and community-based services as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Valid PA Driver's License

• Must have a valid PA Driver's License
• Travel is necessary to offer support across Beaver County

About the Role

Merakey is a non-profit provider of developmental, behavioral health, and education services. We are seeking a Mental Health Worker to join our team at our program in Monaca, PA location supporting Beaver County.

Pay

$20.75 an hour + mileage reimbursement
