About the Role
People Incorporated Mental Health Services is seeking a Mental Health Therapist to join our School-Based Mental Health Services team. School-based mental health services reach children in everyday environments. The natural, non-stigmatizing location offers an early and effective environment for intervention. This also allows for increased opportunity for coordination of care, as the therapist has access to children in their school sites with the school team, increasing access for busy families and reducing barriers that may prevent individuals from receiving care.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain therapeutic relationships with children, parents, and other family members
- Conduct individual therapy and, as needed, conduct family and group therapies
- Create and implement treatment plans and regularly evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans
Schedule
Hours are usually 8:00am - 4:30pm. Two options to choose from:
- 1.0 FTE: 40 hours a week with a caseload during summer vacation
- 0.9 FTE: 40 hours a week during the academic year, reduced hours in the summer (20 hours per week for 8 weeks)

Pay
Salary varies based on licensure and qualifications. The ranges below reflect the 1.0 FTE hiring range:
- Unlicensed: $62,000 - $68,500, plus a $1,000 hiring bonus for external candidates
- Licensed: $74,000 - $80,000, plus a $2,000 hiring bonus for external candidates
