About the role
As a Mental Health Therapist at ACP, you’ll deliver high-quality psychotherapy and mental health services to adults experiencing diverse mental health challenges, including: Serious and Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI), Depression and anxiety, Substance use disorders, Cognitive decline and dementia, Complex medical and psychosocial issues.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide evidence-based therapy and mental health interventions.
- Travel to various medical and community settings to reach clients who may have barriers to accessing traditional in-office care.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Requirements
- Master’s or Doctoral degree (PsyD or PhD) in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field.
- Active Minnesota license as an LICSW, LP, LMFT, or LPCC.
- Strong clinical skills and a passion for working with diverse and older populations.
- Commitment to culturally responsive care and integrated health models.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Compassion, empathy, and dedication to improving clients’ quality of life.

Pay
Starting Salary Range: Compensation depends on licensure, experience, schedule, and caseload. Master’s-level licensed clinicians (LICSW, LMFT): Starting salary range $75,000 – $90,000 annuallyDoctoral-level licensed clinicians (LP, PsyD, PhD): Starting salary range $90,000 – $105,000 annually
