About the role

Full-time and part-time openings for a therapist at our New Port Richey/Trinity, FL location. Open to unlicensed/master-level therapists (supervision for licensure offered). Part-time roles are for licensed clinicians only.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing clinical procedures and guidelines, as needed.
  • Actively participate in staff meetings and case presentations.
  • Assist in supervising Care Coordinators during initial intakes.
  • Provide supervision and consultation to staff and student interns, as appropriate.
  • Provide patient-centered therapy interventions with an emphasis on patient involvement as an integral part of the treatment team.
  • Utilize the electronic medical record to document patient screenings, psychosocial assessments, progress, and referral information, completing documentation within the agency’s required timelines.
  • Assist in the process of advocacy for patients’ access to community resources.
  • Collaboratively develop treatment plans including input from the patient, families, treatment team members, and other agencies, as appropriate.
  • Coordinate and communicate with the treatment team to provide the best care to patients.
  • Use multiple interventions such as group, individual, and family therapy to assist patients in meeting their identified goals.
  • Demonstrate sensitivity to diversity issues in the assessment and treatment of patients.
  • Demonstrate respect for the inherent dignity and worth of the patients.
  • Actively monitor patient progress toward goals and address termination/discharge-related issues, providing outside referrals at discharge/termination, as appropriate.
  • Effectively work independently and in a team environment; prioritize workload based on workflow demands and in response to reprioritization by administrators, when needed.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Eligible licensures: RCSWI, LCSW, RMHCI, LMHC, RMFTI, or LMFT.
